Your Pet's Story or Bio
Bambi was named by St. Hubert’s. He was named after the Disney character because he looked like Bambi in the movie when he was trying to learn to walk on the ice. Bambi’s back legs do not connect properly at his hips (he doesn’t have properly developed hip sockets) so his legs tended to splay out when he was young. I fostered him to allow him to try to gain some muscle strength (since he couldn’t run around freely at the shelter), and he stole my heart. He became yet another foster failure! Oh, and he is doing great - his legs don’t slow him down one bit.
