One day about five years ago, a gentleman took his vehicle to a muffler shop. When the mechanic heard a strange noise, he inspected the car and discovered a small tabby kitten wedged inside of the engine compartment. When the kitten was removed, it was determined that, surprisingly, she had no injuries other than a scratch on her tail. We were contacted about the stray and decided to bring her into our home and name her Muffie due to her adventure at the muffler shop. She is now a well loved family member and is kept far from any engines.
