Gracie is a resuce dog that came into my life two years ago. She was very shy and had been abused. I had just lost my beloved golden spaniel Sunny and went to the shelter as a volenteer to walk some dogs, as I missed Sunny terribly. That's where I met Gracie. She was so scared I couldn't leave her behind. At first I thought it would be a foster situation...but I soon realized I needed Gracie as much as she needed me. We rescued each other!
