He had a way about him that was his own.Wanting to be free and left alone. A change in our lives gave us a fresh start.We were there for each other in our time of need.Loving each other unconditionally, there was no greed.Moe became that cat!The one I wanted to love on my lap.He would jump up to kneed his blanket like it was his Mother’s fur,and just purr, purr, purr.It was his happy kitty place.This special time always brought a smile to my face.My heart is heavy and hurts so much.Snuggling alone with your blanket so plush.I know the poem says that you want me to be strong.Not sharing this blanket with you seems all so wrong.As I sit with tears in my eyes.I ask, “God why?”Thinking you were not that old.I'm reminded of our love and the short time it took to unfold.
