Bonjour mes amis et un gros miaou à tous !!

Je m'appelle Pasha

Last year, my owner got very sick and went into palliative care. I was 17 years old and we had been together for my whole life. I was surrendered to the Montreal SPCA; I was terribly sad, but they took very good care of me and posted me as an adoptable senior on their website. Someone in Ottawa had recently lost a tortoiseshell cat (like me) who also happened to be named Pasha and who had just died 2 months before at the age of 17. You can't make up a coincidence like that ! She was heartbroken and missing her Pasha, and I was heartbroken and missing my Dad. By some miracle, she saw the poster for me online and drove to Montreal to meet and adopt me. She was expecting a timid, scared and frail cat, but when they opened the door to my cage just a little, I pushed my way out to greet her. It was love at first sight - it was like we'd known each other forever. We are very happy together !!

I have been in my new home for just over a year now. I just turned 18, and am very healthy and content here, with a few dog sisters, lots of treats and cuddles, and a lot of love.

Please vote for me, as I think I'd look great the next Montreal SPCA calendar. As you can see, there's something magical about me, if I do say so myself...

And consider adopting a senior cat; we have lots of love left to give. The SPCA gave me a chance, despite my age and look how lucky my new Mum was to find me !
