Pet's Story or Bio
They call me KittyCat. Honestly, I was disappointed when my humans didn’t come up with a name that better captured my cat spirit. That moniker gives the impression I am cute and cuddly. Well, I am of course. But so so much more. For example, after my humans adopted me from the Monterey County SPCA, they quickly discovered I was remarkably resourceful. I figured out that when they bring out the evil cat carrier, they intend to take me on a long car ride to visit one of their friends, or worse, see the vet. In either case, I hide. Something else about me you should know. I have an active imagination. I sometimes pretend my humans startle me and would scramble like crazy across the hardwood floor, making a hard left into the living room, where I would lose my footing. That maneuver always cracks them up. I also love to jump up on the desk when they are in the middle of their zoom calls and preen while on camera so that the other humans on the call can see how purrfect I am. My humans are lucky to have such a playful, friendly, and beautiful cat. But the game my humans most appreciate about me is one I call Cat Fight. Here’s how it goes. When they least expect it, I leap from behind the door, give them my scariest cat pose, then bat their ankles with my paws, and often finish them off with a love bite. Michele always runs for cover, which is fun. But the other human, Mark, gets this wild look in his eyes and chases me. Such a blast. Maybe they should have named me KoolCat.
