After being sprung from the Houston shelter last Thanksgiving week, Lila abandoned her fleas and flew from Texas via Chicago to Portland, Maine, before finally arriving at her new home in Orono. No wonder she was exhausted by the time she tested her new bed! In a recent interview, Lila was asked what she loves about Maine: "My new food, my new humans, cool summers, a scoop of pumpkin every night at 7 pm, and the abundance of chipmunks!"
