Pip is a rescue dog. Our first dog from North Shore Animal League, a no-kill organization on Long Island, NY. Pip had lived on the streets of Long Island for many weeks. He is a true mutt and he is something we have since learned called a Southern Blackmouth Cur...part Boxer, Whippet, American Staffordshire Terrier, Basset Hound, Lab. He loves to hunt, roam free, protect his people and gets totally excited whenever a friend - human or dog comes to visit. He is one happy fella, and a true Mainer - he loves hiking, swimming and winter - the more snow and the colder the better. Like dogs do, he has totally changed our lives!
