Your Pet's Story or Bio
In early 2022, I was scrolling Pet Finder (as one does) and came across this little cutie. She reminded me of my childhood dog, and I immediately knew I had to meet her. I learned that Sage was found and brought to Rosie’s after she and her sister endured an unbearably cold winter chained up outside. Sage had birthed 8 puppies, 5 of whom did not survive the brutal temperatures. Sage was the biggest dog (all 58 lbs of her) at Rosie’s when I went to visit. The staff reported she was frequently overlooked due to her “large size”. Overlooked??? Look at her face! It’s safe to say I fell in love at first sight. Despite her history, Sage is loving, playful, and loves to show off her sassy attitude. She’s a loyal and fierce protector and was the best addition to my life.

Why I am thankful for my pet...
Sage is extremely loyal to her family and is ALWAYS up for a car ride to Dairy Queen ;) She is the definition of a girl’s best friend (and passenger princess)!
