Your Pet's Story or Bio
I adopted my quirky calico Autumn, now Mila, from Southside Animal Shelter in the early winter of 2016. I was nervous to adopt her as she was a year and a half with FIV, but I’m very glad that I did because, now at 10 years old, she has been my partner in crime ever since.

Why I am thankful for my pet...
Mila has been with me since I moved from home to pursue a new life. She has brought me comfort in times when I’ve felt lonely and, with that, a sense of purpose because I have this little creature to love and take care of. I am so grateful to Southside for giving me my best friend and, of course. I am thankful for my Mila. I could not imagine my growth without her. I could not imagine this life without her. To me, she is more than a cat, she is my family.
