Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted these two about 1.5 years apart from SSAS but they are inseparable. Bean(McKenzie) was a foster to adopt as we oversaw her leg amputation due to an injury to her growth plate but her recovery was amazing and most people dont even notice the loss- our zoomies queen.
We waited a month or so for Jet (Alexei) as he was on crate rest at the shelter after surgery on his jaw from bullet fragments in his face.
Their love for each other was instant and they have not stopped cuddling and playing since the day we brought him home.

Why I am thankful for my pet...
Unfortunately in April 2024 we learned Bean has lymphoma. We have been getting her treated at the Fishers VCA and she receives her last round of chemo on Monday November 4th!
She is currently in remission and we will go in monthly to monitor her over time from here on out ❤️
Bean's spunk and cuddly demeanor have not faded and we couldn't be more grateful!
Jet has been so amazing to her during this time and always knows just what Bean needs- whether that's space, body heat/ cuddles, or a gentle play session.
