Oliver did not come from SSLR but was rescued from a kill shelter. The only thing that kept him from already having been killed was that he could not be caught. I found him cowering under some furniture and reached in and grabbed him telling myself, "If he bites me he bites me." He cuddled up to me still shaking and I convinced the executioner to let me have him. I named him for my father, brother, grandfather and Oliver Twist. We adopted him and he has been a part of our family for more than 2 years now. He is still scared of other people and us when we are standing, but he loves life and all his puppy and kitty siblings. He is a great snuggle bunny at night. This photo was made on our annual vacation and the smile on his face shows how happy he is to be alive and part of the Edmonds Clan.
