Hi friends! My name is Carl, and Soul Dog Rescue saved my life.

In late 2022, my siblings and I were born on a reservation. A Navajo elder named Ms. Mary found us and gave us shelter.

A little later, Soul Dog Rescued us, but not before we contracted Distemper. My first fosters gave everything to keep us all alive. Sadly, my brother crossed the rainbow bridge, but my sister and I survived.

A few months later, I went to live with a new foster family with my bestie, Reine, another Distemper survivor.

Reine was adopted in September, but despite my stunning good looks and undeniable swagger, I received no applications. Go figure!

Then, in December 2023, my foster family realized I was meant to be theirs. They adopted me!

Now, I’m living my best life with two other rescue pups, and my parents who will love me forever!
