Porkchop was taken from a hoarding situation, along with several other golden retrievers and a large number of cats. The instant I saw him on the adoption page at the local animal shelter, I knew he needed to join our family! My 14 year old daughter and I went to look at him while my other teenage daughter was still sleeping, and that was it! We fell in love, adopted him, took him straight to Wag n Wash for a much needed bath, then home. Did this on a whim and he has become the best boy ever for us!! I often tell him I wish he was a puppy, so we would get to have him much longer; he is 8.
