A little about my entry...
Also know as mistbows, cloudbows, Bouguer’s halos, Ulloa’s rings, sea-dogs, or white rainbows, this fogbow was a first for me in decades of travel and hiking. A fogbow, similar to a rainbow, requires the sun to your back and moisture in the air, but fogbows, unlike rainbows, appear pale, with muted colors (typically reds and blues) or no colors at all. This was spotted in February on a foggy morning with the sun peeking through at Helen Putnam Park above the new parking lot.
