A little about my entry...
Pinta had a rough start in life, surviving abuse/neglect that resulted in a rear leg amputation by the age of 16 weeks. Our family fostered her during her recovery, and she's been with us ever since! For the past 10 years she has enjoyed life on 3 legs, frequently visiting our local Sonoma County Parks and taking in all the lovely scents. She loves people, is super sweet and goofy, and has allowed many SRJC veterinary technician students to practice their skills on her. Our kids are teenagers now, but as little ones they frequently sang this song about our charming girl:
"Pinta the Awesome,
Pinta the Good,
Pinta the Dog from Our Childhood!"
