A little about my entry...
It's the story of "Who saved who?" After recently losing both of my beloved 14 year old dogs I was So heartbroken. Not to mention lonely. It had been 30 years since I was without canine companionship.
Enter Wilson. I didn't think I was ready however his photo on a local shelter's website drew me in. His sad eyes said- Why after two years does my family no longer love me? I knew I had to meet him.
After a week long of field trips far from the shelter we drove away together for the last time.
He is sweet, gentle, rolls with my crazy life, makes friends everywhere but also a silly and rambunctious 3 year old. He saved me emotionally & physically and I'm forever grateful for that.
