A little about my entry...
Jiba was found in early 2024 wandering in a field in Bakersfield.
I saw his photo online and knew he was the dog I've been looking for.
He is a trickster and I thought I might name him Loki, but decided it had become a fairly common name, so I looked for other trickster god names. Jiibayaabooz is the Ojibwe trickster god, Spirit Rabbit. So I shortened it to Jiba, which standing alone, means Spirit.
Jiba loves to jump in the river after small pebbles I throw. (In the rare event he catches one, he spits it out.)
He has a very wolflike look so I had the genetics done--- he is 1/2 of 1% wolf.

1% Calupoh (Mexican Wolf Dog)
Jiba is just 1.5 years old, so he still has a lot of puppyish energy.
