A little about my entry...
Wally the “Wonder Dog” is one of the most courageous and persevering dogs! He relocated with me and only two suitcases from California to Kansas. I answered a call to serve as the Pastor of a Presbyterian U.S.A. church in rural Southwestern Kansas, and Wally was my only and most faithful companion, who made it all possible. He was my constant companion, greatest source of motivation, and ultra guard dog in a place which was so different from my home in Northern California. Wally is so brave and adaptable, that he just “rolls with the punches,” and we’ve been through so many adventures together, including visiting the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, the Rocky Mountain National Forest, getting lost in the Tarhee National Forest in Wyoming, wildfires, evacuations, and a pandemic. Through it all, he’s still never far from my side, constantly protecting me and giving me courage to keep pursuing my dreams and serving people who are neediest, with heart in hand. He is deeply spiritual and caring and touches me with compassion that only a canine can possess. He was my first dog and is still my loyalest and bravest companion. He would sacrifice his life to protect me in a heartbeat.
