Baxter is a rescue from Lied Animal Shelter. Baxter was a bait dog that was rescued along with 18 of his brothers, sisters and friends. Although his face and body have many scars, bumpy bones and "hamburger ears", his altruistic spirit is unstoppable!! This once timid and reclusive dog has flourished! Now he CRAVES people! His day isn't complete until he has said "Hi" to his friends on our evening walks and received treats from his second favorite human, Aunt Dot. Aunt Dot is a resident at a nearby senior home and she makes Baxter special "gluten free" treats!! The rest of his biography reads like a typical dating ad. "Hi there, my name is Baxter. I like long walks on the beach or in the mountains, cuddling on the couch, looking deep in to your eyes, eating at the finest takeout restaurants and meeting all of your friends."
