Pickles and Sheldon are rescues and both have neurologic disorders that limit the use of their back legs. They are very active and have "nothing's gonna slow us down" attitudes! Pickles gets around using just her front legs most of the time and uses a wheeled cart when we take her out and about. Sheldon is currently in physical therapy to strengthen his upper body and has just started learning to use a cart. He is also in training to become a therapy dog. We love taking them out because they always bring smiles to the faces of everyone they meet. Plus it gives us the chance to talk about how amazing rescue dogs are. These two may require a little extra care but the joy they give us in return is immeasurable!
