When I was given the chance to possibly adopt one of your sweet foster bullies even though I lived out of state I was overwhelmed with joy!! I am sure the fact that I had been loving bullies for 15 years truly helped my cause. Fortunately we don't have that many bullies in rescues here. So I drove for 17 straight hours with my Daughter from Washington State to meet and adopt my sweet boy Pumba. When I saw this one picture on your site that his foster had posted where he was looking up at the camera I knew in my heart that he was meant to be my baby!! His foster parents Carol & Geo told me that he had been left at a shelter which amazed me and broke my heart. I have had Bulldogs for 16 years and can't imagine EVER dumping such a wonderful breed of dog at a shelter. Pumba, being a California boy :)), has adapted positively wonderfully to Washington State. His only issue is he hates windshield wipers but what can you expect from a California guy!! I am retired and home with him almost all the time and I love him more than words can say and I know in my heart that he loves me too...especially when he sits up on his little hind legs and gives me the sweetest kisses ever!! I cannot imagine my life without a Bulldog in it and now Pumba Bear Baby has given me the chance to continue loving a bully again. Pumba and I keep in touch with Carol and Geo through photos and after the last one Carol said Pumba definitely owns it in his new home. Thank you so much to Skip & the Board for allowing me to love Pumba!!
