It had been a very long time since my Tabby cat had passed and I finally felt like I was ready to adopt a new cat. I saw Blue's little face on the website and knew he was the one. While I was at the shelter adopting Blue, I met Jupiter (formerly Eclipse). I went home that night with Blue but could not get that beautiful, sweet, older black cat out of my mind. I went back a month to the day later and adopted him. It took a few weeks for Blue and Jupiter to warm up to each other but now they are the best of friends and completely inseparable. Jupiter is especially sensitive to my senior dog, if one of the other dogs in the house bothers her, he steps right up to defend her. I am certain he views himself as her protector.
