Naughty OR Nice Story
Han Solo found himself wandering the streets of Columbus, Ohio when his family kicked him out in the middle of summer. He was hungry, hot and in a Universe of trouble. Animal control used a catch pole to corral him. Afraid, Han fought against the scary device and damaged his trachea. Despite the trauma, he has the sweetest disposition.

Fast forward to our visit to the local animal shelter to help our son’s former 4th-grade teacher adopt a dog. It was the busy 4th of July weekend; the highest intake period due to lost and frightened pets. We saw Han and fell instantly in love. He attached himself firmly to my side and I just couldn’t leave him.

Our adopted seniors, from Los Angeles Baldwin Park and Carson Shelters, were not thrilled at first but slow introductions, supervision, patience and time proved to be a winner.
