I met Rasheeta (formerly Dixie) when volunteering as a dog walker. I felt a connection and admiration instantly. She was relaxed, confident, and stopped to say hi to every person we approached on our walk. She nodded at and nuzzled me with trust and love. I made plans for the whole family to meet her immediately and snagged her up when the whole family felt the connection too. She brings joy, love, and laughs into our house and hearts. And a few chewed household items.
