Love at first web-"site" in 2017. It was a sunny March afternoon, and there he was, Harry, an 8-year-old Australian cattle dog mix, newly posted on sfspca.org, sporting a charming crochet bandana. I'll never forget his "adopt me" photos. Described as a "spunky guy" who “loved long walks” and was simply just "looking for a family to love him." I was certain this pup was the one. Fast forward to 2023, Harry is now 14, pictured here, rocking his silver muzzle, still spunky and wise. Our story is a testament to the incredible bond that can be formed with a senior dog. Adopting Harry changed my life. The past six years with my sweet senior boy have brought me more joy than I can put into words. Typing this brings me happy tears. I embrace all of the adventures that lie ahead for the two of us.
