Trinity came to me completely accidentally. A homeless woman at Dolores was going around to people, begging someone to take her off of her hands. She had two other dogs she was providing for at the time, and when someone dumped a third on her, she was completely overwhelmed. As a pittie mix, she was so afraid Trinity would be euthanized if she was taken in to a shelter. I offered to take her, not intending to keep her forever. But as weeks turned into months, Trinity definitely became more and more sure that she found a permanent home to settle in. As they say, the rest is history. She has gotten me through bad breakups, deaths of friends and relatives, and so many life transitions. She is truly my world and has brought me so much joy throughout the years.
