Keeley joined our little family in Dec 2019 and when she was 5 months old, she suddenly became the child of a relatively isolated, high Covid risk, work-from-home mom. She quickly proved adept at providing endless emotional support, learning all the dog tricks available on YouTube, ‘safe’ outdoor activities (camping, hiking, running up snowy mountains) and claiming all household furniture as her own. There’s no doubt that I live in her world now, and have the privilege to supply her with high-value treats and escort her to Tahoe when she sees fit.
