Elton is our first shelter dog. We didn’t know what we would find when we stopped by the SFPCA on a drizzly afternoon. Elton (then Ziggy) was a scrawny seven-month old pittie mix sharing a kennel with his sister. He looked at us with his soulful chestnut eyes and we fell in love. Elton has been part of the family for seven years now. We go on camping and kayaking adventures and we snuggle in bed each morning until our cat kicks him off the bed (Elton is kind of a wimp). Thank you, SF SPCA, for bringing Elton into our lives.
