Melrose found her furever home in 2018. She came from King County, was incredibly timid/afraid of the world. We were told that she did not connect well with men but crawled under my leg and let me pet her belly during our visit at the SFSPCA. It took Melrose two years to find her voice and confidence with lots of coaching. She’s now happy, healthy, thriving, spunky, and confident. She loves others dogs and is a big fan of minnows as her preferred treat. Her happy space in this world is the beach, as she becomes a completely different dog the minute her paws hit the sand.
