Oh, for several years, I have volunteered with a couple local SPCAs and have always enjoyed the different doggies and learning about them from the staff…

My last little (5 pound doggy) passed away from a serious lymphoma, cancer…surgery and chemo… And when I brought her in to be cremated, sadly, the next day, the nurse called me and told me that “somebody was waiting for me, and to get right over to the clinic!! “,

Which I did, and there was Charlie… A loving bundle of fur… just waiting to be rescued as he had recently been adopted and was being abused… Somebody noticed that and took him away from the adopting guys, saying that they should not have a dog and brought Charlie to their cousin who works at the clinic… That’s why I got a call the very next day as the clinic doesn’t usually handle dogs that way… I definitely got lucky… And hopefully, so did Charlie…
