Since the beginning of the pandemic I have been working from home so I knew early on it was the right time to adopt a kitten. I found Dr. Fauci on the Purrchance Facebook page and then we met on FaceTime. I knew he was the kitten for me. Our first year together was very challenging: dealing with a persistent parasite requiring twice daily antibiotics, learning how to go outside on a leash and an extended visit together to stay with my elderly parents in Los Angeles during lockdown. I’m so grateful for his constant companionship during this new life of working from home. He’s my baby, my friend and my love bug.
