Pet's Story
We adopted him from human society on 9-14-2006. We had recently moved to SD from New Jersey. My neighbor Sondie Callaway (a volunteer ) told me about him. So we adopted him right away since her two black labs Gianna and Giada loved him and she knew he was special . His name was scotty (chip # 472D171COA ) but we call him “Cinder” He has a story .. he had used up two of his nine lives .. surviving acute urinary blockage in 2011 and recently had cardiac arrest and almost died 6months ago. This photo is Cinder today at 18 years old. He is at a healthy weight alert loves his doggie friend and thriving. He once saved a kitten (named Jules) at a vet clinic I worked at by donating blood. He is an extraordinary cat. He’s cute, inquisitive. Obedient knows sit,stay, his name and will not run out an open door. He does love his sunroom watching lizards and birds, his doggie friend Rosalita, eating and sleeping typical cat stuff! He loves his supervised backyard walk a bouts and we love him dearly .
