Pet's Quirks
Malcolm's favorite things are retrieving treats from a puzzle and sleeping in the catio with his friends.

Pet's Story
Malcolm came to me at nine years old with severe behavioral issues. His history was he had witnessed his brother being taken by a coyote. When I got him it was like he was emotionally shut down. He was terrified of everything, but when frightened he wouldn't run and hide. He just froze with a glazed look in his eyes. Over the last three years with a lot of love he's come out of his shell and learned how to be a cat again. Finn, Wyatt and Boz helped, but it was really Wilbur who did the most work. Wilbur was a tiny kitten just being introduced to the household and Malcolm didn't want anything to do with him. Wilbur took one look at him and decided they were best friends. Wouldn't take no for an answer. Malcolm learned how to play again. Since then he has gone into early kidney failure and had two canines removed. He had melanoma in his left eye so that was removed just a couple months ago. In spite of everything Malcolm has learned to take it all in stride and become the confident, happy, loved kitty he always deserved to be.
