Pet's Story
Soxy is a rescued Chihuahua . Adopted at the San Diego Pet Expo in 2013 . She has 4 brothers and sisters . The mother and puppies were neglected . Previous owner did not feed the mother enough and she produced very little food for the puppies . The mother and puppies were starving ! You could see their entire backbone and every rib . They also suffered from mange . At 14 weeks old, Soxy weighed 2.0 pounds . Given the proper amount of food , Soxy now weighs 6.0 pounds . Soxy is my "Cuddle Bug" . She loves to play fetch , children , go for rides and snuggle . She is very loving to everyone she knows , but is timid around strangers . An excellent watchdog . Barks loudly and fiercely behind the safety of a window . Warns me if anyone is coming near the front door, lol ! Has never bitten or displayed aggression to anyone . She enjoys being kissed on her cheek .
