Pet's Story
My husband and I have been wanting to adopt a bunny as it is my favorite pet animal. Pearl caught my eye when I saw her on the website. We decided to visit the next day hoping she’ll still be there. When we arrived at the shelter, she was absolutely adorable and charming. We planned on fostering at first but my gut was telling me to adopt her. Hours later, we officially adopted her! My family was surprised because we’ve never had pets but goldfish. We decided to name her Pearl after her birthstone and she’ll be turning 1 on June 28! My mom was diagnosed with depression a couple years ago and having Pearl with us has helped my mom so much with her depression. My mom treats her like a newborn baby! Always excited to see her after work and even changed her wallpaper on her phone and watch to Pearl. We even bought Pearl a stroller for my mom to walk around the neighborhood. Our family will spend hours with Pearl without noticing how much time has passed. She has been such an amazing blessing to our family! My family and I love Pearl so much!!!
