Pet's Quirks
Every morning I was awakened and greeted in bed by Hugo who would be standing on my chest expecting to be petted and ready to start the day.

Pet's Story
Hugo was adopted in 2008 from a Persian cat rescue center (Helping Persian Cats) in Los Angeles. At the time of his adoption Hugo was a little under weight, shy, and lacking confidence. Over the months and years he gained weight, matured in confidence, and enjoyed riding in the car.

Hugo's favorite time of year was at Christmas where he would station himself under the Christmas tree and next to my Lionel train. If you will note in the picture his chin is resting on the Pullman car.

Hugo loved to chase our other Persian cat around our home. It was comical to watch them slide on our wood floors only to come to an abrupt stop when the other much larger Persian cat tired of the adventure.

Unfortunately, Hugo passed away this past July at 16 years of age. Hugo left a lasting and cherished memory in our home and in our hearts.
