Pet's Story
Hi my name is Kaede, and I am a three year old German Shepherd. Although my family has lived in California for 20 years, their roots are in North Carolina, and that’s also where I was born! So when I was only 2 months old, my family flew all the way to NC to visit our family and pick little ol’ me up, and I got to fly on an airplane (in the cabin) to my new home here in San Diego. I sometimes think I am luckier than my brother Max because I get to go everywhere with my family....especially to my favorite restaurants, but they don’t allow that in NC.
Not only am I loving and loyal, my family thinks I am pretty smart too. I know lots of commands, but the one my family thinks is the coolest is when someone asks me to shake, I use my right paw, but if you ask me to give you a high five, I do that with my left paw.
Whenever I get baths at home, I’m a really good girl but when my mom takes me to Petco to give me a bath in their tubs, I love to whine so loudly that everyone in the store comes by to look
at me, (they must really like my voice), but my mom seems so embarrassed by it??
I love to go to Starbucks and get puppuccinos!!! As soon as my mom pulls up at Starbucks, I put my head out the window and start whining because I know what deliciousness is coming my way! And I get so excited about Christmas, because I love unwrapping presents!
I’ve unwrapped a couple in the past, but it wasn’t anything I wanted... Just a necklace and some human clothes! Although, I can’t read I guess that it's possible those weren’t for me….oops!
