Pet's StoryRigby is a Highlander cat and was born with Myolepathy - a nerve condition that affects the spinal cord. This means he is unable to toilet without human assistance to manually express his bladder at least 3 times daily. He’s now 5yrs and has been lovingly squeezed more than 5,340 times by his devoted human. Rigby is an active playful mischievous feline who loves to hide inside boxes and bags patiently waiting for unsuspecting passerby’s to pounce on. He’s smart and cleverly figures out how to open his treat ball for instant gratification. (What was that human thinking of trying to get him to work for treats?!) The best trait Rigby has is helping his human foster kittens for the shelter. He is their foster daddy and helps the little single litter kittens learn how to be a cat. He truly loves them to bits - talking to them, grooming and napping with them, patiently letting them be their most unruly around him. His existence is a gift to his humans and to the many solitary little kittens who have passed through his life. He’s been on hiatus from fostering but is eagerly waiting to foster again. Rigby 💝
