Pet's Story
Barley aka Barelyto ( @barleytos_way on Instagram ) is a dog like no other. He poses for photos like a supermodel, only loves on his terms, protects his home with ferocity, and typically ignores people. He hops through the shrub brush like gazelle, plays well with others, and is gentle and coy around both women and children.

Barley was rescued through Labs and More and was part of the 'Granola Litter' - he was chosen by my wife because he was wearing a Star Wars collar and because 'Jethro' from the 'Beverly Hillbillies Litter' had already been adopted (that was here original choice).

We were told he was not even crate trained but on his first drive home, my wife and I decided to treat him like we treated our last dog, a Golden - Ridgeback rescue that lived to 15 1/2. Even then, at 4 months old, he only had 2 pee-related accidents in the house on the first day! Now, 5 years later he is clearly the most intelligent, observant, and introspective dog I have ever owned.
