Pet's Story
Zuko came to me as a four month puppy. These people tried to sell him to my mother in a Target parking lot. She said she does not buy dogs but that she can take him to the SPCA, so the people said okay. My mother brought him home for what was to be just a night. I saw Zuko and fell in love with him, so she let me keep him. I named him Zuko Danny from Grease the movie. Zuko is 10 now years old. He has gone through at least one big event in his life. When he was about 6, he fought off a coyote in the backyard saving his doggie sister penny (another dog who was adopted form a shelter). Penny was attacked she is now fine but if it wasn’t for Zuko coming to her rescue and fighting the coyote off, Penny would have been taken by the coyote. He is now currently blind. So he’s relearning to work his way through his day to day but is really getting the hang of it. Now that he no longer has his sight, he is more of a love bug than he ever was before; and has shown me a new way of love. He loves to be carried everywhere now, he has his own special bag that he travels in too.
