Serving San Diego County since 1880, San Diego Humane Society operates campuses in San Diego, Escondido and Oceanside and will be a refuge to 50,000 animals this year.
As the safety net for 90% of our region's lost, abused and neglected animals, we offer a wide range of programs and services that strengthen the human-animal bond, prevent cruelty and neglect, provide veterinary care, educate the community, assist people with keeping their pets and so much more. We also provide care for 12,000 injured and orphaned wild animals each year with the goal rehabilitating and returning them to their natural habitat.
