Pet's Story or Bio
Kayla was adopted in November of 2015.
She was a shy girl who had been mistreated by her former owner.
We knew right away she was going to need a lot of love to come to a point of trusting a human being again.
The process was slow but gradually she began to realize that she would never be hurt again.
In true Goldie style she opened up and began to enjoy life.
It became obvious that she had a lot of love to give.
Kayla became a registered Therapy Dog in 2017.
Since that time she has visited hospitals to provide love and comfort to patients and staff.
She also participates in a Paws to Read program at the library.
Children will read to her as she provides a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Her forever parents could not be more proud of her!
