Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Kona, AKA Jeter, in December of 2017. We love him. I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (for the second time) four months later. He was my constant companion at home.

I didn't have the time and energy to train him to be my service dog, but he would've been perfect. (He did allow me to use him to stabilize myself to get up several times. However, he still loves me so much I'm still trying to get him to stop jumping up on me like a lap dog!)

It takes a "real" male dog to wear a pink bandana, but he does it for me. He's my official mascot for my community's Bark for Life (in Arcadia). Thank you SCGRR for this true ANGEL in my life!
