Pet's Story or Bio
Rowan was rescued from a backyard breeder on June 29 2014; becoming our baby instead of making babies for a breeder. She was15 months when I met her for the first time and she walked over to me and put her head in my lap, it was immediate heart melting love. Rowan and I bonded so deeply, as I never had experienced with another dog. She had never been inside before and when we first brought her home she was scared of everything but in relatively short time became a secure and happy girl. Working from home, Rowan was my partner in everything. She was the sweetest, most gentle darling girl, she was a leaner, loved to cuddle and initiated hugs. Rowan greatly enjoyed watching the birds and the squirrels and loved to chase bunnies. To our tremendous dismay, in February 2018 she was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma, only 2 months before her 5th birthday. Rowan ascended to heaven on October 30, 2018. Although her life was much, much shorter than we could have hoped, Rowan lived a beautiful life…. She enjoyed countless trips to Carbon Canyon Park, vacationed in Ojai and Santa Barbara, ate in dog friendly restaurants, played in the surf and sand at HB Dog Beach, experienced the snow in Big Bear. Rowan had birthday parties, puppy play dates, she slept in our bed, had countless toys and she was loved beyond measure. Rowan, our little Red One, our beloved darling girl, love knows no end.
