Pet's Story or Bio
Skye (formerly Ekin) came into our lives on December 1, 2019. We had recently lost our beloved Golden and were stunned by the silence and emptiness that had permeated our home. We had adopted our former dogs privately and had never gone through a rescue before. This time, however, it just seemed right to honor our former canine companions by rescuing a dog that so dearly needed a loving home.

Skye was relinquished to a shelter in Turkey, and made her way to the US in November thanks to SCGRR, having already had a litter of puppies by the time we adopted her at 20 months. To say she has changed our world would be a gross understatement. She seamlessly integrated into our household as if she has always been there. She has SO MANY friends and loves meeting up with her Golden buddies. She has the sweetest, most endearing personality, and is such a gentle soul, with a little bit of stubbornness thrown in to keep us on our toes. We spoil her to no end. And we fully believe that she deserves every single thing we can give her for bringing light and love back into our home. We love her to pieces ❤️
