Rules

• Entries are limited to Bulldogs and French Bulldogs. The dogs may be exhibitor dogs, rescue dogs, family pets, or a combination of the aforementioned.
• Submissions must include at least one bulldog but may include others as long as there is one Bulldog in the photo.
• No American Kennel Club (AKC) or breed standard requirement, although, as stated, only purebred Bulldogs are eligible.
• No age limits. No humans are allowed in photos; inappropriate or obscene content is allowed in photos.
• Commercially reproduced photographs from professionals will not be accepted without proper release.
• Photos must be of high resolution or you risk not being able to use that photo in the calendar. A replacement photograph may be requested with a deadline date.

Each entrant must pay a minimum $50 entry fee per photo submission, which includes a free copy of the 2025 calendar. If you donate $5 or more votes in the entry process, you will receive five votes on your entry.

Photos may include more than one bulldog. The image's resolution may limit its use in the calendar.

Submissions will be accepted online only from 12:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Saturday, June 29, 2024 to 8:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Voting by the public during the submission period and until 8:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, for $1 per vote (minimum $5 in votes).

Voters are prompted to make a donation (minimum $5 in votes) at the time of pledging. Entries will receive one vote for every $1 donated during the live voting process. After you submit your entry, you have the opportunity to ask your friends and family members to donate-to-vote by sending them the URL for your entry or using the "Tell-A-Friend" form when you log in to your account on the Contest website. Keep in mind that you cannot combine votes from separate photos/entries.

Proceeds from the collected votes and calendar entries go to Southern California Bulldog Rescue for the care and maintenance of rescued bulldogs.

If you make a $25 donation in votes, you will have the ‘25 votes' needed to earn ‘ONE FREE' copy of the completed ‘No Bulldog Left Behind" calendar*. Delivery of the free calendar earned is included. Please contact us at info@socalbulldogrescue.org to ensure your delivery address is noted for us.

Examples for votes:

• $25 will get 25 in votes and one calendar.
• $50 will get 50 in votes and two calendars.
• $ 75 will get 75 in votes and three calendars.
• This would mean if you donated $500, you could receive 20 calendars. ($500 / 25 = 20 calendars).
  

This formula will continue on counts of 25. Delivery is included in these transactions for each level of 25.

What happens in cases where the single transaction is not 25 or over, however the sum total of the same donor whose total votes are equal to 25 or more?

We will make every effort to contact the donor to confirm interest in receiving a copy of the calendar. This will be determined by the email addresses of the submission.

How will we handle calendar deliveries for large donors?

We will contact donors before sending calendars to confirm the quantities of calendars to be sent. There has been confusion in the past, with some supporters receiving many more calendars than wanted.

What happens if I donate and vote many times though out the contest. Do I get calendars for all those transactions?

We will add up your votes by email and contact you in advance to confirm how many calendars you may receive. There has been confusion in the past with some supporters receiving more calendars than needed.

Do donors have to use votes all at once?

Donors do not have to use all votes at the time of donation. Upon donation, donors can apply all of the votes to one image or store the votes in an account. If voters choose to store vote credits, they can be accessed and votes with a User ID and password at any time during the contest pledging period.

All proceeds from the event will benefit bulldogs in various bulldog rescue programs, including, but not limited to Southern California Bulldog Rescue and supported bulldog rescue programs.


Donations made through the "No Bulldog Left Behind" Bulldog Calendar Contest and Online donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Contact us for more information if a receipt is requested.


Bulldogs with the most collected votes for charity will be determined the winner for a months in the calendar to include 12 Bulldogs for the calendar year, cover, and select premium holidays of the calendar year.

The bulldog with the most collected votes will be given the option of the cover of the calendar or the month of their choice in the calendar.

Photos may only include Bulldogs – no people – to be eligible for entries. Each photo entry may only be submitted once and must be submitted by the owner of the Bulldog. The contest opportunity is exclusive to Bulldogs. All photos must be non-explicit in nature. Failure to abide by these rules and the contest waiver will automatically disqualify the entry. Submitted photos will become the intellectual property of the No Bulldog Left Behind Bulldog Calendar and its sponsors.

If the winning photo submission does not meet reproduction requirements, those winners can resubmit an acceptable photo of the same dog in 14 days after notification.

Special consideration will be given to mood studies, beautiful portraits, action shots, unusual snapshots, and photos that capture the tone of specific holidays.

Winners only will be notified by electronic or postal mail no later than November 1, 2024

• Only digital submissions will be accepted.
• Images must be in horizontal (landscape) format
• May include one or more pets, one must be a bulldog.
• Any image that includes people, or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by the staff, will be removed from the Photo Fundraiser.
• Subject to the approval of the calendar printer for use as calendar art submission.
• A replacement photo may be requested in the event the winning photo does not meet reproduction requirements and must be submitted in 14 days of the request by calendar designers.

*Calendar subject to sponsorship agreements and print production deadline. The calendar committee and "No Bulldog Left Behind" Calendar reserve the right not to produce a calendar if sponsorship agreements are not signed in time to help underwrite the printing costs.
