Meet my beautiful Jenny. Jenny has an incredible will to live! Jenny was born in March 2013. We rescued her at the age of 8 months from an unstable household. She was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) in 2018. The specialist put her on massive doses of steroids and immune blockers to fight the disease. She developed calcinosis cutis as a result of the steroids, and that required many weeks of daily treatment to heal the skin and keep her comfortable. She went into remission after about one year of treatment. Unfortunately, IMHA reared its ugly head again in 2019, so we fought with her through another treatment regimen. She has been in remission since completing the treatment (knock on wood). If that's not enough, she developed, and overcame, a bout with septic arthritis in 2022. Through it all, Jenny has been, and is, the most loving and caring dog one can hope for. She is my buddy, my work mate, the love of my life. Thank you for voting for Jenny!!
