Harley was saved by the Southern California Bulldog Rescue when she was found as a "stray" in a shelter in February 2023. Above her fur and across her whole back side, Harley was covered in enormous (but benign) skin tumors. Southern California Bulldog Rescue had a surgery performed on Harley to remove all of the masses. Harley was most likely used as a breeder dog and was perhaps discarded when she was no longer found useful. We had the honor of adopting Harley in March 2023, a month after her surgery. She is small but mighty! Harley is a huge love bug and is as sweet as they come - but she also keeps Max, our big 2 year old male English Bulldog in check! She is fiercely protective of Max and of our family. Harley LOVES the water and charges into a hose spraying water or a pool or lake with no fear (she wears her life jacket). Harley loves walks and anything nature! She is incredibly resilient and confident. And, she is also very kissable!
