Rules

Entries are limited to Bulldogs, also known as English Bulldogs or British Bulldogs. Bulldogs may be exhibitor dogs, rescue dogs, family pets or combination of any of the aforementioned. Submissions must include at least one bulldog but may include other bulldogs, too. No American Kennel Club (AKC) or breed standard requirement, although, as stated, only purebred Bulldogs are eligible. No age limits. No humans allowed in photos. Commercially reproduced photographs from professionals will not be accepted without proper releases.


Each entrant must pay a minimum $25 entry fee per photo submission, which includes a free copy of the 2020 calendar. If you donate for 5 or more pledges in the entry process, you will receive 5 free pledges on your entry.   

Photos may include more than one bulldog. Resolution of the image may limit its ability to be used in calendar.

Submissions will be accepted on-line only from August 1st, 2019 to September 3, 2019. Pledging by public during the submission period and until September 3, 2019 for $1 per pledge (minimum $5 in pledges).

Pledgers are prompted to make a donation (minimum $5 in pledges) at the time of pledging. Entries will receive one pledge for every $1 donated during the pledging process. After you submit your entry, you have the opportunity to ask your friends and family members to donate-to-pledge by sending them the URL for your entry or using the "Tell-A-Friend" form when you log in to your account on the Contest website. Keep in mind that you cannot combine pledges from separate photos/entries.

Proceeds from the collected pledges and calendar entries go to Southern California Bulldog Rescue for the care and maintenance of rescued bulldogs.

If you make a single  or combined total of $25 donation in pledges or other reasons, you will have the ‘25 pledges' needed to earn ‘ONE FREE' copy of the completed ‘No Bulldog Left Behind" calendar*. Delivery of the free calendar earned is included.

Examples:

• $25 will get 25 in pledges and one calendar.
• $50 will get 50 in pledges and two calendars.
• $ 75 will get 75 in pledges and three calendars.

This formula will continue on counts of 25. Delivery is included in these transactions.

Pledgers do not have to use all pledges at the time of donation. Upon donation, pledgers will be given the option of applying all of the pledges to one image or storing the pledges in an account. If pledgers choose to store pledges, they can be accessed and pledged with a User ID and password at any time during the contest pledging period.

All proceeds from the event will benefit bulldogs in various bulldog rescue programs, to include, but not limited to Southern California Bulldog Rescue and supported bulldog rescue programs.


Donations made through the "No Bulldog Left Behind" Bulldog Calendar Contest and Online Pledging donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Contact us for more information if a receipt is requested.


Bulldogs with the most collected pledges for charity will be determined winner  for a month in the calendar to include 12 Bulldogs for the calendar year, cover and select premium holidays of the calendar year.

Bulldog with the most collected pledges will be given the option of the cover of the calendar or month of their choice in the calendar. 

Photos may only include Bulldogs – no people or other dog breeds – to be eligible entries. Each photo entry may only be submitted once and must be submitted by the owner of the Bulldog. Contest opportunity is exclusive to Bulldogs. All photos must be non-explicit in nature. Failure to abide by these rules and the contest waiver will automatically disqualify entry. Submitted photos will become the intellectual property of the No Bulldog Left Behind Bulldog Calendar and its sponsors.

In the event winning photo submission does not meet reproduction requirements, those winners will be allowed to resubmit acceptable photo of the same dog in 14 days after notification.

Special consideration will be given to mood studies, beautiful portraits, action shots, unusual snapshots, and photos that capture the tone of specific holidays.

Winners only will be notified by electronic or postal mail no later than October 1, 2019

• Second Place: $50.00 Amazon Gift Card
• Third Place: $25.00 Amazon Gift Card

• ONLY digital submissions will be accepted.
• Images must be horizontal (landscape) format
• May include one or more pets, one must be a bulldog.
• Any image that includes people, or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by the staff, will be removed from the Photo Fundraiser.
• Subject to the approval of calendar printer for use as calendar art submission.
• Replacement photo may be requested in the event winning photo does not meet reproduction requirements and must be submitted in 14 days of the request by calendar designers.
